PartTec supports the United States University Research Reactor Programs at RINSC
PartTec announced that it had agreed to support the Rhode Island Nuclear Science Center's renovation of its 2 MW reactor as a viable research and teaching facility.  RINSC was awarded a DOE NERI-Readiness grant to refurbish the instrumentation used at the location.  PartTec's support is to build and install two Linear Postion Sensitive Detectors needed for Small Angle Neutron Scattering.

PartTec collaborates with Indiana University
PartTec has negotiated agreements with Indiana University resulting in two subcontracts to the University.  These subcontracts will provide PartTec with access to researchers and facilities at the University.

PartTec receives Indiana 21st Century Fund matching grants
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation has announced that it has awarded two grants to PartTec, Ltd. of Bloomington, Indiana.  These grants match to Phase I grants recently won by PartTec from the Department of Energy and are part of the IEDC's committment to high technology, small businesses in Indiana.

PartTec receives 2 Phase 1 SBIR Grants from the U.S. Department of Energy
PartTec announced today that the U.S. Department of Energy has awarded two Phase I SBIR grants for research into Scintillator based Neutron Detectors.  These awards will allow researchers at PartTect to apply its scientific knowledge of nanoparticles and neutron scintillators to produce both a quantum dot based scintillator and a thin-foil nanoparticle type scintillator.

PartTec to provide additional detectors for ORNL
PartTec today announced that its contract to supply neutron detectors for the Spallation Neutron Source located at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory has been increased by 20%.

PartTec opens a second office in Linton, Indiana; a Manufacturing  Office
PartTec held its Grand Opening of the Neutron Detector Manufacturing Facility at its new Linton, Indiana location.  The office is located at 1329 NE "A" Street in Linton.  Currently, the facility is assembling crossed-fiber Neutron Detectors that will be installed at the Spallation Neutron Source located at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

Bloomington-based PartTec, Ltd. says it has won a grant from the Department of Defense for a Phase I SBIR grant.  The grant will support PartTec's research in Nanotechnology.
