Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Neutron Science Division, Spallation Neutron Source PartTec is the outsource for the design, engineering, quality control and manufacturing of detectors for the SNS Instruments.   Indiana University Cyclotron Facility PartTec collaborates on research and development projects on particle beam detector technologies.   Indiana University Chemistry Department PartTec collaborates on research and development projects on material science technologies, especially nanomaterials.   Purdue University, Technical Assistance Program PartTec worked with the Purdue Technical Assistance Program to analyze a complex assembly and quality control process design.   Rhode Island Nuclear Science Center PartTec is assisting in facilities renovation with design, engineering and manufacturing of their small angle neutron scattering instrument.   Department of Defense, Department of the Army, SBIR Program Office PartTec received a Phase I STTR grant, then a Phase II STTR grant for the research on Instrumental Probes of Nanomaterials in Polymeric Matrices.   Department of Energy, SBIR Program Office PartTec has been the recipient of several SBIR grants. Grant projects include the research and development of a Crossed-Fiber, Organic Scintillator based Neutron Detector with high resolution; the exploration of optical properties, especially transparency of organic scintillators after replacing commercial materials with nanomaterials; and exploration and development of Quantum Dot based Scintillators and their applications in Neutron Detectors.
